Winter Master classes 2012

We Play Music with Friend Foundation in cooperation with Jāzeps Mediņš 1st Music School of Riga organizes Winter master classes-2012 for teachers of chamber ensembles, 5th till 8th January, 2012 (Jāzeps Mediņš 1st Music School of Riga: Kronvalda bulv. 8 Riga, LV-1010).
We can offer:
- lectures on actual issues;
- open classes;
- individual lessons with your chamber ensembles.
The main topic this workshop will be learning the Latvian composer’s new chamber music for children.
The master classes will be run by remarkable chamber musicians and competent teachers:
Hans Erik Deckert (cellist, professor of cello and chamber ensembles; Denmark-German)
Māra Birziņa (violinist, Pāvuls Jurjāns Music School; Riga, Latvia
Jānis Rinkulis (pianist, Emīls Dārziņš Music School; Riga, Latvia)
Romāns Trautmans (cellist, Jāzeps Mediņš 1st Music School of Riga, Latvia)
You can announce your participation and/or the participation of your ensemble till 2011, 1stDecember. You can do it by sending e–mail weplay@inbox.lv You must indicate:
- name the school,
- the teacher,
- the membership of ensemble (name, surname of the participants; age and instruments),
- the repertoire,
- requisites of payer; e-mail, phone number
For individual lessons to a particular teacher you must sign up in advance from 1st till 20th December, 2011 by phoning +371 67326677; +371 22390939.
The payment after receipt of invoice: for a teacher Ls 10,-; for an ensemble at individual lessons Ls 5,-.
Every participant pays his own staying. The organizers can advice where to stay in Riga.
